Footlight News

Editorial  October 2010

This will be a shorter version of the usual Footlight News.     Our Drama –in-charge Member, Mike McGillivray is overseas so no report from him.

We are having difficulty with our photo copier so things are quite grim for printing so between Doreen and myself have gathered as much as possible to inform you just what is happening at T8.

Our coming ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held on Wednesday 10th November, so I hope you have filled in those Nomination Forms I sent out with the last Footlight News.      The meeting will commence at 7.30pm

Wendy and Murray McGillivray are back in Geraldton and looking after their son’s home, so it’s nice to get together with them again.  They had a wonderful trip around d Australia and are back temporarily.

Natalie and Tim are also away having a break, before they start the Christmas Music show, which will be held on the last week of November and the first two weeks of December, so keep in mind your Christmas works dinner and invite them to come along and enjoy a great meal and show on Fridays and Saturdays .  Bookings will open at the beginning of November at Queens Park Theatre.

Next year the magazine will probably be printed by monthly.  It should be enough time to inform you about future shows and any special information required by members.

Don’t forget to offer your services to Natalie and Tim for the final show of this year.

Many different services are required for a dinner show so ring Natalie for she will take your name and pass it on to the various people in charge of the many facets of the show.

                                                      Regards………Jess………..
